Haven't updated properly in a while.
Lifes been up and down recently, like some rollercoaster ride. (WOOOOO)
somehow, i managed to look positive and prepare myself for whats coming ahead YEAH :D

EOYS ARE IN 45 DAYS!
with lesser time to study by the minute,
LETS PIA TOGETHER :D
to me, its not an excuse for me to slack, and to be complacent.
in fact, i value this eoys more than ever, not because i want to use it to go somewhere else,
but i want to challenge myself, that i can do well for once.
Looking at all my friends who are taking O levels, studying day and night,
i somehow feel that DHS is such a sheltered enviroment,
where there is no real motivation for us to study towards,
as our future has been settled. (More or less)
and I wish everyone all the best no matter where they go next year. :)
It has been a long journey down the secondary school life,
and its down to this last stretch! Its time to make or break.
Everything we've worked so hard for the past four years are simply reflected on our grades.
No matter what commitments we have, its time to focus.
Focus for 54 more days!

i've gotten something i wanted so much,
from last year until now.

went to sentosa with facils on youth day holiday :D
it was EPIC WET! LOL
had loads of fun with chenxu diong rebecca pinning shaojun,chunxiao, sean and his friend nicholas haha :D played beach vball and then jumped into the sea! heh :D
chenxu and chunxiao dropped their specs inside the sea -.-
but we managed to find it after much stepping on seaweed and crabs :D
ate superdog for dinner! it was super nice :D
then went to candy empire to buy the tub of jellybeans,
and chenxu refuses to eat the loser bean ROFL!
haha then went of with hua to get her specs :D
and roamed around bugis heh!
minds cafe long time ago! :D
(gosh im such a minds cafe freak :/)
BSP pizza hut lunch long ago! :D
we ate like 400 plus dollars x.x
its good to see everyone again! (feels like camp just started again!)
went to tingchih's bbq too! (thanks tc! :D)

im not saying gold with honours is not good, but the value decreases when you share it with 11 schools, esp some which i feel totally dont deserve it at all. i agree with eunice's (emo) post alot.
4 years of co, compiled in 15 minutes on stage. its hard to say that we really did put in our 200% or its too late to think about the mistakes. we may have reached the standards of the (not-so-valuable) GWH, but we certainly felt that we failed to reach the standards of dhsco. gold with honours is just a label, and im sure most people in singapore recognise us as the "gwh co".
when it comes to this point, we should not focus on the performance, but that we have truly tried our best. when we put in 200%, even if we make 100% mistakes, we are still left with a 100% performance. the song may have failed to touch the judges, but it certainly did touch us, and mr quek as well. this time is really a bonding time between DYB. although there has been alot of conflicts (some major ones), i think we all matured in our ways of thinking and compromised each other for the best of dhsco. for that, i think we really deserved the gwh.
now that my days as a dhsco member is almost over, i have to say that co has become part of my life, and im not gonna drop it in jc. i shall try to come back more often and help the juniors, who has really bonded well with us as seniors and also put in their effort to make it a great syf.
